villages
Lanzarote is an island with lots of history, tradition and culture.
Teguise, the old capital, still maintains the cobbled streets that host craft markets on festive days.
In Haría, its inhabitants planted a palm tree for each birth for many years, turning it into an oasis in the middle of the volcanoes. Nearby, you can visit the coastal towns of Arrieta, Punta Mujeres and Cocoteros. And in the south, Uga and Yaiza, two white charming villages surrounded by vineyards.

culture
Lanzarote, besides its unique lunar landscape in the world, has been the only island that has maintained an architecture line inspired by César Manrique. White houses with inner courtyards, surrounded by cactus and black sand orchards. The green doors identify the families who worked in the country and the blue doors, the sailors.
Apart from agriculture and fishing, which continue to be great engines of the economy, the extensive culinary culture and the area of vineyards where the Malvasia grape is grown stand out.
The island is full of artisans who work with clay, stone, sand or wicker, filling the villages with local markets and a festive atmosphere.
